Autumn Ball’s Leadership Awards Gala 2016
November 7, 2016
On Thursday evening, November 3rd, the beautiful Westerkerk in Amsterdam set the scene for the 2nd Autumn Ball Gala and the presentation of the 5th Workplace Pride Leadership Awards. The black-tie event, which Workplace Pride organized together with Winq magazine, attracted a colorful crowd.
Over 300 representatives from the public and private sectors enjoyed the fine dining and great entertainment together with fashion designers, authors, T.V. and political personalities.
Cornald Maas, the host of the evening, kept the audience engaged and made sure all winners got their moment to shine with short and witty interviews. One of the highlights of the evening was Rotterdam’s Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb’s acceptance speech for winning the Winq People Award. Another memorable moment was IBM winning the Global Benchmark Award for a commendable 3rd time in a row. (Please click HERE to read more about the 2016 Global Benchmark top scorers).
Workplace Pride would like to congratulate all Leadership Award Winners. Their tireless, often behind the scenes, work deserves the admiration of both the LGBT community and their business peers:
• Most Active Volunteer – Wies Wagenaar (ABN AMRO)
• Most Effective Straight Ally – Jeroen Ouwehand (Clifford Chance)
• Best Media Representation – Booking.com
• Most Engaged Network – PostNL
