Looking back on the past several months of pride events has reminded us all about important issues dealing with LGBT inclusion in the workplace. We are excited to have launched the New Horizons magazine in late July, which was distributed at the International Conference, as it tells the personal stories of people and organizations who are at the forefront of change with this topic. August saw the Prague Pride Business Forum, which Workplace Pride helped to realize, while many members made their way to Heemstede Slot (Castle) to help celebrate 10 years of the Foundation’s work.
Also exciting are a number of upcoming events and activities, including the National Coming Out Day panel at the Gemeente Den Haag, the online poster contest for National Coming Out Day, and the official launching of Women@WorkplacePride. Nominations for the 2016 Leadership Awards are now open so don’t forget to send in your nominations before the deadline. Finally, Workplace Pride is working with ILGA World, and our members IBM and Clifford Chance to co-organize the Workplace Pride Business Conference in Bangkok on 28 November.
We have a great Fall in store for all, so stay tuned and stay active; your participation and leadership counts for LGBT inclusion in the workplace!

We are pleased to open nominations for the 5th annual Workplace Pride Leadership Awards. These awards honor people and/or organizations that have demonstrated leadership by visibly contributing to LGBT workplace inclusion. This year the Leadership Awards and the top scorers of the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark will be announced at the Autumn Ball being held in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam:
The Deadline for Submissions is 9 October at Midnight!
Workplace Pride is proud to announce it will be cooperating with ILGA World to realize the first Workplace Pride Business Conference to be held in Bangkok on 28 November.
ILGA is the International association working for LGBT rights in societies around the world. This Business Conference will be a side event to their annual international conference, being held in Bangkok this year, which attracts 500 delegates from many different countries. The topic of LGBT inclusion in the workplace is a largely unexplored topic in Southeast Asia, so together with local NGO Rainbow Sky, Workplace Pride and ILGA hope to foster progress among local, and international employers in the region.
Workplace Pride Members IBM and Clifford Chance are sponsors for the event which is open to all Workplace Pride members.
It’s that time of the year again when organizations, their LGBT employees and straight allies spread the word about being yourself at work. Workplace Pride’s annual contest helps highlight those efforts towards greater LGBT workplace inclusion that we should all be proud of. This year’s winner will receive two tickets to the Autumn Ball Leadership Awards Dinner!Read More
