Clifford Chance hosts global Pride Art Exhibition and in Amsterdam Human Rights Watch lecture
July 1, 2016
On Thursday, June 16th, Workplace Pride attended the Human Rights Watch lecture “The shrinking space of human rights in the world”, hosted by Clifford Chance Amsterdam.
Keynote speaker, Boris Dittrich (Human Rights Watch Advocacy Director), touched on various topics, such as LGBT rights in difficult countries and the historic trial of former Chadian dictator, Hissène Habré. In theme with the event, he also led a Q&A session together with a gay Syrian refugee who is now settling in The Netherlands.
Following the lecture, guests were given the opportunity to view a selection of 20 photos from the Pride Photo Award collection. The selection represents Clifford Chance Amsterdam’s contribution to the firm’s Annual Pride Art Exhibition, which, this year, is being held simultaneously in eight Clifford Chance offices.
