The Company Pride Platform will be participating with a number of delegates in the 4th Annual International GLBT Business Leader’s Forum to be held in Rome on 10 June. This annual event, which will be held in conjunction with the Europride, has proven to be a trend-setting moment in which leaders of the GLBT community gather to determine how we want to progress with GLBT emancipation in the business world.
The main theme this year will be to focus on the situation of GLBT people in the workplace in Italy. It is no secret that there is much work to be done. Through the dedicated efforts of the European Gay Manager’s Association, of which the CPP is a member, this event will highlight some of the inequalities that GLBT people face in Italy, but, more importantly, explore ways in which the situation can be improved.
- David Pollard: Executive Director of the CPP will be moderating the workshop entitled: “Borrowing Great Ideas: Best Practices and Tools for GLBT Diversity and Inclusion”.
- Lin McDevitt-Pugh: Member CPP Research Task Force will be participating in a roundtable entitled: “Inspiring the Italian GLBT Community”.
