CPP 2009 Annual Report Released
January 29, 2010
The Company Pride Platform is pleased to announce the release of it’s 1st annual report which was presented publicly at the CPP’s 2010 New Year’s reception on 21 Jan. The report catalogues the history of the Foundation, which was founded in 2008, along with the major activities of the past year. More importantly though, it states in clear terms the vision of the CPP, namely: ‘Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders (LGBT) are fully visible, accepted and valued in the workplace and in society, leading the way for others.’
The report also outlines the structure of the Platform and how it interacts with its Members, which constitute the LGBT employee networks of major corporations and organizations. Financial data of the CPP is reported and companies that have made special contributions such as for logo development, website development and conference organization are acknowledged. Although primarily designed as a look to the past, the report also includes a sketch of what the CPP has planned for the coming year, from structural changes to upcoming events.
Finally, it is the hope of the CPP Board that the 2009 Annual Report will be used as a promotional tool for new members and for clarification of its goals to potential governmental and corporate partners. Its most important role though is to demonstrate to the Dutch and international LGBT community that by working constructively together, we can continue to improve the situation for LGBT employees wherever they work.
